Growing up with a Caucasian mom and an African-American dad, Natalia Chase experienced firsthand the incomparable power of Jesus to heal our divides. Now a mom of three, business owner, vocalist and songwriter, Natalia founded UNIFIED in 2020 as a gospel-centered response to racial tensions in the aftermath of the George Floyd tragedy. Launching with an outdoor prayer and worship gathering at the Ohio Statehouse, Natalia and the UNIFIED team orchestrated a powerful visible display of our unity in Christ while promoting racial healing. Continuing the momentum forward from the 2020 gathering, Natalia and her team have mobilized over 50 churches to orchestrate 22 neighborhood outreach gatherings over the same weekend in both 2021 and 2022. The UNIFIED choir has also performed in secular spaces, bringing the light of the gospel to Nationwide Arena at the Columbus Classic as well as most recently in partnership with Sunny 95 for their Christmas show.
Today, UNIFIED continues to work with churches, home groups, companies, and non-profits to promote unified and diverse worship (Rev. 7), as well as with musicians, artists, and dancers to use their abilities and talents to influence our world with gospel-centered unity.
Because their mission fosters the heart of John 17:21: "that all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you. May they also be in us so that the world may believe that you have sent me", UNIFIED aims to emphasize our unity in public spaces through outreaches and the arts.
